Informteq offers the following basic non-accredited training packages. These sessions can be one-on-one or in groups of up to five participants. This is to ensure that all participants have adequate access to the trainer for any questions they may have. This also means that class sizes remain small and thus encourages learning. All training is conducted onsite, so participants are learning on their own systems.

Word Up!

Microsoft Word has been a staple of many business word processing requirements for some time. This course takes participants through the creation of a Word document. It involves the use of headers and footers, insertion of images, creation of tables and formatting, page layouts, mail merges and printing.

How to Excel

This course features the use of tabular data, insertion of charts, the incorporation of macro's to automate some processes.This is an introduction to spreadsheeting and will enable participants to quickly and efficiently manipulate data.

Plugging into PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint is the business presentation software of choice. This course will teach participants to create great looking and professional grade PowerPoint presentations. Slide layout, animations, transitions and graphics are all discussed as is information flow and presentation.

Access all Areas

This course presents participants with the fundamentals of database design and function. Microsoft Access will be used to demonstrate how data can be captured and presented using databases. Database tables, forms, reports and queries will all be discussed.

What's my Outlook?

This course is aimed at participants who are using Microsoft Outlook in a corporate environment. Participants will go through the fundamentals of using the calendar, Global Address List, contacts, and emails. The course will also touch on the use of public folders and harnessing the power of Microsoft Exchange server.
